For the second game
in row, Palace face a former manager. This time in the form of Steve Bruce who
left under quite a cloud.
And not an awful lot to report from this one. An excellent battling display brought home a point from a game that we would have lost last season. The first half the home side had the best of it but amazingly they appeared to substitute their best players midway through the second half which was the key to us getting back into it. We even had the opportunity to steal it late on through Zaha but the Hull keeper made a great save. A draw was perhaps the best we could have expected but it’s official, this is a bit of bad patch. Proves one thing, we cannot have Murray missing too often.
View from TheEaglesBeak; In the circumstances an away point at Hull City who are also in contention is a great days work. It’s just that our great form has lead us to expect better. Not a bad thing.
