Another wonderful away day and a far cry from the start that we experienced to the season. Palace earned the win at Bolton thanks to a late penalty from Glenn Murray. Wilf Zaha was a big threat as ever and it was him that earned the penalty after being tripped by Zat Knight. Lee went close for Bolton afterwards but his shot
whistled past the post. Palace held on for a fourth league win in
five games.
It was early on when Murray headed an Owen Garvan cross
straight at Bogdan but then the home side had a penalty claim for a possible
handball which would have been harsh, before Bolton striker David Ngog had a close-range shot
blocked by Damien Delaney. Mark Davies also looked set to score for the home side
only to have a well-struck shot saved by Speroni.
View from TheEaglesBeak; Another great result for Dougie and the lads which I sincerely hope has now seen the doubters crawl back under the rock that they came from.
