Latest from SP

A long time Palace target due to join

The latest news if that the Peterborough chairman has confirmed that they have accepted a bid from Palace for winger George Boyd. Very interesting developments and very welcome ones at that. Watch this space for more news as it happens.

However, there are rumours abound that Bolton are preparing an offer for Palace captain Mile Jedinak which has neither been confirmed or denied. We will again, watch this space with far less excitement that the Boyd news.

Meanwhile, Palace have let striker Kwesi Appiah join Yeovil Town on a months loan deal. We at The Eagles Beak hope to see him back at SP soon. A loan deal may do him good as game time is crucial. Stay focused Kwesi.

Cheer leading rivals at SP


A real treat is in store for Palace fans at SP this weekend. For the match against Charlton, the Jacksonville Jaguars mascot and cheerleaders will be making an appearance. They are in town for the Super Bowl which is on Sunday night between the San Fransisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

Excellent news to report in that over 5000 season tickets have been sold for next season already.

And don't forget, make sure you get down and support the future of Palace when the youth teams have a fixture. Tickets for the Under 21 game at SP against Manchester City on 11th February are on sale already.
